Runaway Success


The first 'Mouth to Mouth' 10km run at Sandymouth, North Cornwall took place with some of the regions top runners competing in glorious weather
A clear sunny day on 15th October greeted the runners for the very first 'Mouth to Mouth' 10k run at Sandymouth, North Cornwall. There were runners from Devon, Somerset and Dorset with a strong local contingent. Almost 60 runners took on the challenge of the multi terrain course running along scenic coast, over open farmland and through shady woodland.
Fred Hutt, Ranger, helped to organise the day and said 'It was great to see so many people of different abilities getting outdoors and enjoying the run. We're looking forward to next years event already''.
The event was supported by the local running club, Bude RATs, and Sean Jack was one of their competitors, he said 'It's a great route to run and well organised by the Trust, it should be an anuual event'.
The event was won by Ben Mitchell of Bude RATs in 45m43s with Jo Meek from Tavistock Atheltics the first female in 47m06s.
