This year the Old Post Office in Tintagel has once again been making quilts and rag rugs then selling raffle tickets to raise money for the property.
Natalie Savage, Custodian of the property holds the raffle licence and this years raffle event has proved very popular . As she says, the quilt raffle drew to a close on 2nd October and was drawn on Friday, 7th October. We have raised £1,356 through the raffle, tickets were sold to visitors for £2 each! We have 4 prizes, including 2 hand made quilts, a hand made cushion and a rag rug, all made in house. The winners are far and wide, with one in Germany and the other three dispersed across England and the prizes will be posted out shortly.
