The annual meeting of mini-wizards,
witches, ghouls and ghosts convened on Sunday at Stowe Barton’s
Halloween party.
While the parents enjoyed tea, coffee
and biscuits the little devils enjoyed the ghostly trick or treat
trail, delving into amongst other things beastly beans, spine
chilling spaghetti and the pungent pumpkin pulp. The mini beasts and
devils then listened to stories of ghosts and demons, made wizard and
witches hats and created broomsticks to fly off home.
Pumpkin decorating, marshmallow
toasting on the open fire and shelter building, for the older ghouls,
were all enjoyed.
Face painting followed by apple bobbing
helped to clean the ghoulish faces and everyone went home happy with
their various Halloween produce long before the witching hour.
